Dr. Russ Gibson
Dr. Gibson completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington. Following medical school he completed his residency training in pediatrics and completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine from the University of Florida – Shands Hospital.
Dr. Gibson is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Sleep Medicine and Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. He served as the Chief Fellow in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida.
Dr. Gibson completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at the University of Michigan, Department of Neurology in Ann Arbor, where he studied adult and pediatric sleep disorder medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Thoracic Society, and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Gibson was the recipient of the Hugh M. Hill Award in 2002.
